The Asian Journal of Law and Society (AsianJLS) is an independently managed and edited venue for publishing scholarship on law and society in Asia. ALSA members are encouraged to publish their work in this journal.

AsianJLS-ALSA Graduate Student Paper Competition

Starting in 2022, AsianJLS and ALSA are co-sponsoring a Graduate Student Paper Competition open to not-yet-published socio-legal papers written by graduate students. AsianJLS first held this competition in 2021 and selected as the winner, "Law and Digitality: Tracing Modern Epistemologies and Power” by Salwa Tabassum Hoque, a Ph.D. candidate in Media, Culture & Communication at New York University.
